John started his journey with VPUU in 2019 when he became an EPWP Activator. John was not “into” computers at the time and was shy and reserved. Fast forward to 2021 and John has blossomed into a Social Media whizz and has transformed the Villiersdorp Youth Café Facebook page into an interactive and engaged platform that has become integral to communicating with the youth in the community.
After his 2-year stint as an EPWP Activator, John was offered an Internship with VPUU as his passion, skills, and commitment are invaluable within the Youth Café. We are pleased to say John accepted this opportunity and continues to offer his passion and commitment.
John has taken every opportunity that has presented itself and upskilled himself with various online trainings. He completed an online affiliate-marketing course, photography, video production & directing course as well as a graphic design course.
His videography skills have elevated his skill set, and he produces exceptional videos for the Villiersdorp Youth Café Facebook page. In addition, he has taken this new skill, and set up a business offering his services to the ever-growing music industry in Villiersdorp. Kleinsmith Films is making a name for itself in the Villiersdorp.
John has directed, filmed and edited numerous videos for rappers Lovebite. Below is the video he did for Kersie Dorp. Kindly note that the video is Not Safe for Work.
He now directs, films, and edits music videos for various rappers, singers, and songwriters. This has expanded John’s earning potential along with becoming the go-to man for all music videos.
