The Fairyland Neighbourhood Watch started the Siyayijika Business Training Course at the Paarl East Thusong Centre. This is part of the Community Safety Intervention Programme (CSIP) which includes skills development and training as a core value.
Siyayijika training is aimed at challenging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs to achieve the next level of business growth while drawing on the experience and skills of seasoned social entrepreneurs.
SIYAYIJIKA is an informal settlement project that nurtures economic activity in some of the poorest communities on the Cape Flats. It involves personal mentoring and seed capital to nurture economic activity in informal settlements
