VPUU seeks to combine dialogue between residents, local authorities with appropriate social, economic and cultural solutions to achieve sustainable and safe neighbourhoods on a human scale. VPUU has influenced local, provincial and national policy discussions, which is a small step towards listening to leadership from marginalised areas in becoming a more equal society.
