An accomplished executive and seasoned human resource professional, Colette brings more than two decades of experience across HR management, internal auditing, operations and organisational development within South Africa’s financial and development sectors. She holds advanced qualifications in Business Management, Human Resource Management and Compliance, supported by specialist certifications in payroll systems, labour law and learning and development.
Since joining VPUU in 2013, Colette has played a pivotal role in shaping a strong, people-centred organisation. Her leadership has been instrumental in strengthening recruitment and equity planning, organisational policy development, workplace training, and performance and compliance systems across VPUU’s diverse programmes.
As we enter 2026 with renewed purpose, Colette steps into the CEO role with deep institutional knowledge, proven strategic insight and a clear commitment to community development. Her people-focused leadership and operational excellence will guide VPUU into its next chapter, strengthening both impact and sustainability.
